Train Day!

June 12, 2021    10 am – 4 pm

 

 

The Second Annual Train Day will be a day of barrel train rides, model train layouts, photo ops, speaker on railroad history, free stuff, motorcar rides on Ategra rails, concessions and more.  Meet "Big Bill" Chambers, former Conductor for the CNW and view exhibit on a Small War in a Beer Drinking Country, a tribute to the National Guard participation in securing the U.S.-Mexican border during the forays of Poncho Villa.

 

Also view our newest exhibit at 11:00 am, listen to Rick Mills, director of the SD State RR Museum in Hill City.  He will be telling the story of a century of SD passenger trains.
