Historic Fire Hall

Located south of the U.S. Post Office, Redfield’s Historic Fire Hall built in 1893 served as the Redfield Power Company. In 1902 the City purchased the power plant.  In 1927 it was sold to Northwestern Public Service.   The building served as the Fire Hall until 1977 when the current station was built.

Redfield College 1885-1932

Redfield College was begun in 1885 by the pastor and congregation of the German Evangelical Congregational Church. It continued until 1932 when it merged with Yankton College.
