Shorefishing: Redfield Dam
Redfield Dam is a 170-acre impoundment with good shore fishing access. The City of Redfield manages a city park and campground on the northern shore which includes boat ramp, landing dock, picnic shelter, toilets and large mowed peninsula near lakes edge (emergent vegetation may limit shore angling access in some locations).

Twin Lake is a 1235-acre natural lake. A gravel trail leads to boat ramp and large tract of state owned land (GPA) that borders Twin Lake along the eastern shore and provides unimproved shore fishing access.

Redfield College 1885-1932

Redfield College was begun in 1885 by the pastor and congregation of the German Evangelical Congregational Church. It continued until 1932 when it merged with Yankton College.
